Unrecognized Marche - The New Tuscany

The Marche wine map shows the area that is on the east central coast of Italy. Except for a narrow strip right on the coastline, the area is hilly.  The area is poor, although there are more tourists who are visiting the seaside resorts and making day trips for wine tasting at the small vineyards.

Notable wines in Marche

Several wines are popular from the Marche wine region map. The largest areas devoted to wines are the Colli Pesaresi in the northern part of the region; the same area produces Bianchello del Metauro.  In the southern part of the Marche region, the wines produced are Colli Maseratesi and Falerio del Colli Ascolani.

Foods to Enjoy
